THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said he does not know what happened to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and told the media that the Governor should show maturity and wisdom. The Governor deals with matters in a different way. There will be different forms of protests against those in positions of power. The police are doing what they are supposed to do. The Chief Minister responded that there was no need for the Governor to get down at the place where the protest took place.
"Have you seen a strike for an FIR? Can CRPF file a case? The Governor's power is not above the law. The governor is challenging Kerala itself. Wisdom cannot be acquired by oneself, it must be gained from experience. It should be checked if the governor has other health problems.''- said the Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said that Kerala Police is good but they are not being allowed to operate properly. the police cannot control the protesters because the CM controls the police. "There were more than 100 policemen to stop the 22 protesters but the police could not stop them. Policemen are under pressure to work. Is this how the police will provide security if the Chief Minister goes through the same road? I have not asked the center for security. I am 72 years old. I am not afraid of anyone. - said the governor.
