PATHANAMTHITTA: A youth died after setting himself on fire at his estranged wife’s house. The dead has been identified as P B Hashim (39) of Changanassery Pottasseri Puthenpurayil. The incident happened Sunday night in front of his wife’s house in Valanchuzhi.

Hashim had lost his life by the time the fire force reached the place. The two have been living separately for two years. The problems between the two led to the suicide. The body has been handed over to his relatives after the post mortem.
