HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, a one-year-old baby boy sleeping with his father was killed by a pack of stray dogs. The incident happened Thursday early morning in Telangana. The dead is K Nagaraju, son of K Surya Kumar of Shamshabad. The local people saw the dogs feeding on the baby and informed the police.

The dogs were chased away after pelting stones and beating them with sticks. Meantime, the police and the neighbors are suspicious of Surya Kumar not knowing of the baby dragged out of the house by stray dogs. Surya Kumar told police that the baby was given milk and they went to sleep at 12.15 am. Suryakumar's wife was not at home when the incident happened.

Though the baby was taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved. The police said they have filed a case on a complaint lodged by the child’s father Surya Kumar.
