THRISSUR: AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge will inaugurate the Mahajanasabha tomorrow in Thrissur, which will start the election activities of the Congress in Kerala. More than one lakh activists will participate in the Mahajanasabha at Thrissur Thekkinkadu Maidanam at 3 pm.

More than 75000 workers from 25177 booths in the state like booth presidents, women vice presidents, BLAs and office bearers from constituency to AICC level will participate. KPCC Vice President VP Sajeendran, General Secretary Adv K Jayanth and DCC President Jose Vallur said in a press conference that the conference will empower Congress to bring drastic change in its work through booth empowerment.

The AICC President will address the office-bearers up to the booth level. Kharge will also inaugurate the distribution of permanent photo ID cards to the booth presidents. KPCC president K Sudhakaran will preside.

AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal MP, Leader of Opposition V.D. Satheesan, AICC general secretary in charge of Kerala Deepa Das Munshi, Congress working committee members Ramesh Chennithala, Dr. Shashi Tharoor MP, Kodikunnil Suresh MP, KPCC Campaign Committee Chairman K. Muralidharan MP, former KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran, Mullappally Ramachandran, M.M. Hassan, MPs T.N. Prathapan, Benny Behanan and Ramya Haridas will participate.

30 more rallies this month

30 more rallies will be organized in the state under the leadership of KPCC this month. In addition to the Samragni to be held in Kasaragod on the 9th, rallies will be held in various districts of the state in which a quarter of a lakh people will be mobilized.
