KOCHI: Two youths were killed in a bike accident in Kothamangalam. The incident happened Sunday early morning at Nellikuzhi Companypadi on Perumbavoor Road at 4 am. The dead are Amanudeen (28) of Edavanakad Pazhangadu Azhivelikkath and Muhammed Sajid (23) of Kuzhipillykkara Valiya Veettil.

A pedestrian seeing a helmet and a bike lying on the road and when examined saw two youths lying on the road in a pool of blood. The fire brigade from Kothamangalam reached the spot and took the youths to the hospital, but their lives could not be saved. The police informed that the bike has not been damaged and they may have fallen asleep causing the accident. The police informed that further investigation is going on in connection with the accident and the CCTV footage of the nearby area is being collected.

KSRTC bus collides with car in Pandalam
One died after a KSRTC bus collided with a car. The accident happened near Pandalam Karumbala School around 7 am today. Joseph (66), a resident of Thiruvananthapuram, a passenger of the car, died in the incident. Abhi (32), a native of Karunagappally, was driving the car. He was admitted to Adoor Government Hospital with injuries. The fire brigade arrived from Adoor, broke opened the car and pulled out the occupants.
