THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC MD Biju Prabhakar has gone on leave. The leave is taken till 17th of this month. Biju Prabhakar took leave after writing a letter to the Chief Secretary requesting his removal from the post of KSRTC MD. The leave comes amid continuing differences with Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar. However, Biju Prabhakar explained that he is taking leave for personal reasons.

Biju Prabhakar has not visited the KSRTC office or taken a decision on the files after returning from abroad on the 28th of last month. He went on leave again when he was supposed to go back to the office after the leave. It is reported that he will also vacate the post of Transport Secretary. The stand taken by Ganesh Kumar on the matter related to the electric bus also aggravated the difference between the two.
