Search based on Mobile phone
The investigation is focusing on the mobile phone of Amaljit and his friends. His phone is switched off. The investigation focused on the tower location of the exam centre on that day will also be conducted with the help of the cyber department.
The investigation focusing on the bike which was used by the man who impersonated Amaljit to write the exam is also progressing but the CCTV footage of the escape on the bike is not clear. He escaped from Poojapura to Tirumala.
The impersonation attempt took place during the PSC examination at Poojappura Chinnamma Memorial Girls High School on Wednesday. The candidate ran away from the examination hall during the University Last Grade Servants examination which started at 7:45 am.
The candidate in room number 6 ran out with the hall ticket when an officer came to the classes with a biometric verification machine. Only candidates who scored more than 55.44 marks in the preliminary examination were given a chance to appear in the second stage examination. It is concluded that there is no need for Amaljit, who has secured high marks, to ask someone else to appear for the main exam. It is being investigated whether he passed the preliminary examination also through impersonation.
