THIRUVANANANTHAPURAM: A big turning point in the case related to a suspected impersonation attempt during a PSC exam. The police suspect Akhiljith, brother of Amaljith, impersonated for the main accused. Both natives of Nemom are on the run. His family told police that Amaljith himself wrote the exam and left the hall due to stomach pain.
The investigation has been extended further on the conclusion that they have crossed to Tamil Nadu. The shadow team under the leadership of Poojappura circle inspector is also investigating the case. The investigation is focused on the mobile phone of Amaljith and his friends. His phone is switched off. The investigation focused on the tower location of the examination center on that day will be conducted by the cyber department.
There will be an investigation on the youth who impersonated himself to write the exam and later escaping in the bike. However, the CCTV visuals of the escape is not clear. He escaped from Poojapura to Tirumala. The police believe that Amaljith was waiting on the bike. More CCTV visuals of this area will be collected. CCTV visuals of Pangode military base will also be examined. An investigation will be done after collecting the vehicle numbers of the people who appeared for the exam.
The impersonation in the PSC exam held at Poojappura Chinnamma Memorial Girls High School happened on Wednesday. The applicant ran from the hall during the university last grade servants’ examination which started at 7.45 am.
When the officer came to the classes with the biometric verification machine, the candidate in room number 6 ran out with the hall ticket. Candidates who scored more than 55.44 marks in the preliminary examination were given a chance to appear in the second phase of the exam.
