THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Karnataka High Court is set to review a plea filed by Veena Vijayan, daughter of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and director of Exalogic Solutions Company. The plea seeks a halt to the SFIO investigation into the monthly payment issue. Filed by Advocate Manu Prabhakar Kulkarni, the Exalogic petition names SFIO and the Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs as opposing parties.

Exalogic filed a petition with the Karnataka High Court yesterday seeking to annul the SFIO investigation. The petition requests disclosure of the grounds for the inquiry order and a suspension of further proceedings.

V.D. Satheesan is linked to Exalogic's move to approach the Karnataka High Court in the monthly payment controversy, said K Surendran. In a press conference at Kottayam, Surendran accused Satheesan of having ulterior motives. Doubts linger over whether Satheesan also received monthly payments. Criticism arises over the Chief Minister's attempt to impede the investigation, despite claiming innocence. Allegations suggest his wealth prompted the court filing. Calls for cooperation with the investigation echo for both father and daughter. Former opposition leader and key UDF figures face accusations of financial involvement.
