KANNUR: KPCC President K Sudhakaran asserted that Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan remains untouched by legal repercussions due to his alliance with the BJP. Sudhakaran made these remarks during his address at the Samaragni Yatra event in Mattannur.

He further claimed that PM Narendra Modi's acceptance is akin to preventing his downfall. Additionally, Sudhakaran criticized the repeated adjournments of the SNC Lavalin case, now on its 38th delay.

Accusing investigations in dollar and gold smuggling cases of shielding the Chief Minister, Sudhakaran highlighted the absence of probes against the BJP state president in the black money case citing a prior agreement.

The event saw AICC Secretary Viswanatha Perumal inaugurating, with Sunny Joseph MLA presiding. Notable figures including MLAs Sajeev Joseph and Shanimol Usman addressed the gathering, which attracted thousands of activists.

In continuation, a public meeting featuring KPCC President K Sudhakaran and Leader of Opposition V D Satheesan is scheduled today at 9.30 am at Hotel Parm groove in Payyambalam, Kannur.
