WAYANAD: Principal of higher secondary school arrested with MDMA. The incident took place in Vythiri, Wayanad. Police arrested KR Jayarajan (49) of Raghunandanam house who is the principal of a private school in Pulpally.

The incident took place around 3 am on Friday. The police were checking vehicles near Vythiri Taluk Hospital Junction. Meanwhile, Jayarajan's car came by. The car was stopped for vehicle inspection.

Then, while checking the vehicle documents and driving license, 0.26 grams of MDMA was seized from Jayarajan. The police have taken the car Jayarajan was driving into custody.

A team consisting of sub-inspectors PV Prashobh, P Muhammad, SCPO TH Unais and CPO Arun are the ones who conducted the vehicle inspection.
