NILGIRIS: A video of a black panther walking in front of a house in Tamil Nadu is now going viral on social media. This video was shared by IFS officer Parveen Kaswan on the X platform. This incident took place in Coonoor in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu.

In the 25-second video, the black panther can be seen slowly walking near the front door of a house. It is reported that this incident took place last year.

"Imagine somebody visiting you like this. Video from a house in Nilgiris. Do you know where else you can find black Panther?" Parveen captioned the video. Some say that it is rare for black panthers to reach populated areas. In India, black panthers can usually be only seen in a few wildlife sanctuaries.
