KALPETTA: Criminal conspiracy has been charged against all the accused involved in the mysterious death of Pookode Veterinary University student Siddharth. The police went for the decision after it was learned that the seniors in the college made Siddharth return to the college by breaking his vacation with family, all under the pretext of just talking things out. The police informed that there was a clear conspiracy behind the assault.

The remand report states that Siddharth was summoned from his native place to conduct a mob trial. Interestingly, the police were hesitant to include the criminal conspiracy charge earlier, even after strong protests from family and locals. Siddharth, a native of Thiruvananthapuram Nedumangad, and a BVSC second-year student, was found dead in the bathroom of the hostel on February 18.

As per reports, Siddharth faced inhumane torture from his seniors following an argument in the college regarding the Valentine's Day celebrations.
