MUMBAI: The presence of mind of a 12-year-old boy who managed to save himself from a leopard is winning over the internet. The incident took place in Malegaon in Maharashtra. It was 12-year-old Mohit Ahire, the son of a security guard, who acted bravely and escaped from the wild animal without even a scratch on his body. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.

The video shows Mohit playing on his mobile phone sitting on a table in a room. In the meantime, a leopard walks into the room. However, it seemed to have not noticed the boy. On seeing the leopard, Mohit silently walked out of the room and carefully locked the door from the outside.

What an amazing presence of mind

Mohit Ahire, a 12-year-old boy, locked a leopard inside an office cabin until assistance arrived in Malegaon & the leopard was rescued.

With this, the leopard got trapped inside the room. The boy then informed the matter to his father and soon local residents gathered at the spot. Following this, the Forest Department and the police arrived and captured the leopard. Malegaon Forest Department officials said that the leopard is five years old. They also appreciated the child's bravery and presence of mind.
