THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Youth congress staged a protest in front of a clinic in Thiruvananthapuram owned by the mother of a suspect involved in the death of Siddharthan, the college student was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Pookode.The protest took place where Bindu Sundar, a doctor, runs a private practice.

Dr. Bindu Sundar of Nedumangad District Hospital is running a private practice near Siddharthan’s house in Kurakode. Alleging her son's involvement in the case, activists barged into the practice room and threw away the name board on the road.

Meanwhile, the police are looking for digital evidence of Siddharth's death. For this, the accused's phone will be checked in detail. This is to check for videos of the torturing that any of the students might have recorded. The inspection will be completed soon with the help of a cyber cell. The police informed that the exchange of messages made by the accused after the death is also crucial.

Police on Friday revealed that Sinjo Johnson, the man accused in Siddharathan’s murder is a martial arts expert and holds a black belt in Karate. Sinjo is said to have pressed his fingers deep into Siddharthan’s throat thereby making it impossible for Siddharathan to swallow water during his dying hours. Many students have revealed to police the inhumane torture that Siddharathan had to pass through during his final days.
