KATTAPPANA: The accused pleaded guilty in the case of killing and burying two people, including a newborn baby. The police confirmed that the accused Puthanpuraikal Nithish (Rajesh-31) committed both murders. Nitish killed the baby he had with Vishnu Vijayan's (29) sister's daughter and Vishnu's father NG Vijayan.

Nitish is Vishnu's friend and a black magician. Recently, both of them were arrested while stealing from a workshop in Kattappana city. They entered the workshop to steal but were beaten with an iron rod by the workshop owner's son. Later the police came and arrested them. The details of both the deaths came to light during the interrogation in this theft case. The police suspect that this sacrifice was made because Nitish is a person who performs black magic. Nitish, who was on remand in the theft case, was released in police custody by the Kattapana court in the afternoon. He fell unconscious after hearing the court order. He confessed to the crime after being interrogated by Idukki SP.

In 2016, the newborn baby was killed and buried in the house in Sagara Junction where Vishnu lived. Later he sold this house and stayed in a rented house in Kanchiyar Kakkattukada. The police got information that after killing Vishnu's father Vijayan here a few months ago, the body was buried in the ground and covered with concrete. These things have been confirmed in the statement given by Vishnu's mother and sister to the police. It is indicated that the owner of the rented house in Kanchiyar was called and the information related to the murder was obtained.
