THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: High Court Chief Justice AJ Desai informed Governor Arif Mohammad Khan that the sitting judge cannot be released for the investigation into the death of Siddharthan, a student of Pookode Veterinary College. This is because there are a large number of cases to be resolved. The High Court has also handed over a panel of 23 retired judges to be appointed for the investigation. After the governor returns on March 19, one of these may be appointed for investigation. The government has handed over the investigation to the CBI.

Expressing no faith in the police investigation, the governor sent a letter to the High Court seeking the services of a sitting judge for the judicial investigation. The judicial inquiry is ahead of the dismissal of Veterinary University Vice-Chancellor Dr MR Saseendranath, who has shown serious misconduct.

5 things to look for

1) According to the postmortem report, it was not ragging but murder. Siddharth was not allowed to eat or drink water.

2)Senior officials of the university were not aware of the 3-day brutal incident even though they were in the campus? Even though Siddharth's screams were heard all over the campus, the dean, warden and VC did not take any action.

3)Role of VC, dean and warden, the mystery of accused and teachers trying to change the statement.

4)Whether criminal and illegal activities are going on in the hostels and SFI has been convert it into their base

5) It is also suspicious that the classmate did not inform the mother even when the dead body was in the morgue. Conspiracy in fabricating girl's complaint after death.
