NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has expressed displeasure over the delay in the state government's counter-affidavit in the plea filed by MLA Antony Raju in connection with the 1990 evidence (mainour) tampering case.

The court asked if the government is colluding with the accused. The government was also directed to submit a counter affidavit within four weeks. Antony Raju approached the Supreme Court questioning the High Court order to take further action in the -mainour tampering case. The case alleges that Antony Raju, while a lawyer, had tampered with the mainour kept in the court to save Australian citizen Andrew Salvatore, who was accused in a drug case.
