NEW DELHI: BJP has released the list of 72 candidates for different states of the country. However, there is not even a single candidate from Kerala in the second phase candidate list. Senior leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will contest from Nagpur this time as well. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi will contest from Dharwad in Karnataka. Piyush Goyal's constituency is Mumbai North.
Janata Dal leader and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda's son-in-law CN Manjunath got the chance to contest on the party symbol. Manjunath will seek vote for BJP from Bengaluru Rural.
Pankaja Munde will contest from Beed and BS Yeddyurappa's son BY Raghavendra will contest from Shimoga. Tejaswi Surya will contest from Bengaluru South and former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai from Haveri. Apart from Maharashtra and Karnataka, candidates for some seats in Delhi and Gujarat have also been announced today.
