PARASSALA: All three accused in the sensational Sharon murder case have denied the crime in court. The first accused Greeshma, her mother and the second accused Sindhu and the third accused Nirmalkumar denied the crime after the charge sheet prepared by the Parassala police was read out to them at the Neyyattinkara court.

On October 14, 2022, Greeshma called her boyfriend Sharon Raj to her house and gave him a juice that had pesticide mixed in it. Sharon, who was in critical condition, died on October 25 while undergoing treatment at the Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. After conducting an investigation, the police arrested Greeshma, her mother Sindhu and her uncle Nirmalkumar in the case.

On Tuesday, the three accused, who are on bail, were summoned to the Neyyattinkara Additional District Court to read out the charge sheet to them. However, all three accused denied the crime. Later, Neyyattinkara Additional District Judge AA Basheer ordered the trial to continue from September 19.
