NEW DELHI: Massive protests have erupted in Delhi after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the excise policy case. The protesting Aam Aadmi activists are being arrested and removed by the police. The party is planning to spread the protests across the nation.

Apart from the Aam Aadmi Party, parties including the Congress, will also join the protest. This will create a huge political upheaval. AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal announced that the INDIA Front has decided to organise protests across the nation.

At present, Aam Aadmi workers are protesting by blocking the Delhi road. The police are arresting them and moving them to the buses. However, more activists are coming to Delhi. Although prohibitory orders were imposed outside Arvind Kejriwal's residence, there is high tension in the area. Security has been beefed up at the ED headquarters. The police have arranged systems, including water cannons, to deal with the protesters.
