HARIPAD: After watching ‘Aadujeevitham’ on screens, people across India were in total disbelief learning that a man came out alive from all of such tortuous happenings. The real-life hero of ‘Goatlife’, Najeeb calls his unbelievable survival, the blessing of almighty.
On Friday, while the theatres across India were discussing ‘Aadujeevitham’, Najeeb along with his friends Shibu Mastan, Abdul Wahid, Tajuddin, Shaju Mastan, Muhammad Kunj were busy at work. However, unlike in normal days, all of them were wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with ‘Aadujeevitham’ logo. Najeeb says that the t-shirt was given to him by Benyamin, the writer of the novel.
Benyamin reached Haripad the other day and gifted the t-shirts to Najeeb and his friends. Everyone planned to go to the movie wearing the t-shirt but the untimely death of Najeeb’s grandchild put all plans at bay. After repeated persistence from the filmmakers, Najeeb alone went to watch the premiere on Thursday. Now, his friends are also preparing to watch the movie at the earliest.
Even after earning popularity through the novel and now the movie adaptation, Najeeb’s life is more than it meets the eye. There are still days when he barely manages to earn Rs 500 and some days even bleaker than this. Albeit, riding in popularity, Najeeb seldom shares his misery with others but keeps all within himself. All of his friends now want the movie's success to also uplift Najeeb's life which he deserves much.
