NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's criticism against Rahul Gandhi, a friend of the "INDIA" front, was in harsh language that even he did not use. Modi began his speech by saying that 'INDIA' partners are fighting each other for 25 percent Lok Sabha seats. He was speaking at an election rally in Maharashtra.
"Rahul and Pinarayi are threatening to put each other in jail. This is the state of their front. If this is the current situation, what will happen after the elections? How can those who don't trust each other vote? Voters should teach them a lesson. Rahul Gandhi will have to leave Wayanad like how he was chased out of Amethi by BJP leader Smriti Irani. The prince of Congress is facing danger in Wayanad. I am sure Congress will look for another safe seat for the prince once the polls are over."
Victory confirmed in the first phase
The Prime Minister claimed that the people of the country voted for the BJP-led NDA in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections. "A one-sided victory for the NDA and a defeat for the opposition has been confirmed in the first phase. Keep working hard and you will get results someday." Modi said. Without mentioning the name of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Modi criticized that some people migrated to the Rajya Sabha foreseeing defeat in the Lok Sabha. He added that the 'India' front is afraid to contest, there are no candidates in many places and leaders are not campaigning.
