Christians not getting benefits: K Surendran
K Surendran, an NDA candidate from Wayanad, said that while sharing resources in Kerala, Christians, who are the main minority, are being neglected. When the benefits including scholarships are distributed, 80 percent are given to Muslims while Christians receive 20 percent. Kerala has become a state that denies benefits to Christians. Only those who have an organized vote bank get benefits. Left and right fronts in the state have a stepmother approach towards Christians. Surendran also said that the BJP is the only party that has demanded that Christians be guaranteed proportional representation.
