KANNUR: KPCC president K Sudhakaran has alleged that there was a discussion to bring CPM central committee member EP Jayarajan to the BJP. "Sobha Surendran and Rajeev Chandrasekhar were at the helm of the secret talks held in the Middle East. Jayarajan was promised the post of governor, but he backed out after threats from the CPM", Sudhakaran said adding that more information will be revealed soon.

"Jayarajan has been restless ever since MV Govindan became CPM secretary. Jayarajan was supposed to be in that position for many reasons. He is very disappointed when he didn't get it and told that to many friends. EP Jayarajan is also not on good terms with Pinarayi Vijayan," he said.

Sudhakaran also accused the CPM of being a party that has been casting bogus votes regularly. "UDF will win all 20 seats in Kerala. Reflection of the people's response was seen in yesterday's 'kottikalasham", he added.

On Wednesaday, Sudhakaran had openly said that he has a good dog and even that will not go to BJP. Sudhakaran's statement was made during a road show held in Kannur as part of the grand finale of the election campaign. "What did I do wrong if someone go to BJP? There is no basis to say that I will go to BJP. If I wanted to go, I could have done that a long time back. I have a nice dog. Its name is Bruno. Even that will not go to BJP. I have started political activity since the age of 9. I know who to oppose and who to support", Sudhakaran said.

"Am I responsible if someone I know go somewhere? Does it mean that I will go to BJP because they did? The secretary who was with me for six months went to BJP. I ousted him. What should I do if he has gone to BJP?," asked K Sudhakaran.
