KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in a tacit criticism, asked fellow LDF leader E P Jayarajan to practice caution while choosing friends from opposite political spectrum. The Chief Minister was talking to the media after casting his vote at the booth in Pinarayi.

“The news about Jayarajan joining BJP is fiction and is aimed to taint LDF ahead of elections. However, EP should practice caution while choosing friends. I know the intention of Dalal Nandakumar. He is simply a man with a big lust for money. There should not be any friendship or alliance with such people “Pinarayi commented.

The Chief Minister reiterated his earlier statement that BJP would not even get second place in any constituency and said that LDF would register a historic win in Kerala. CM added that this is not an election to judge the performance of the state of Kerala but an election to judge the nation's performance. CM Pinarayi Vijayan was accompanied by his wife Kamala and daughter Veena Vijayan.

BJP leader Shobha Surendran had earlier alleged about conducting talks with veteran LDF leader E P Jayarajan for his inclusion in the saffron party. In the press conference, she said that 90% of negotiations with EP turned into success.
