IDUKKI: Actor Asif Ali who came to vote on Friday endorsed a victory that would uphold the democracy of the nation. The actor was responding to media questions about his favourite candidate from the trio of Suresh Gopi, Mukesh and Krishnakumar.

“I don't want to talk about their politics and mine. We want a victory that is good for democracy. Every Indian must vote. Without doing it, there is no point in standing aside and commenting on politics. We must exercise the franchise. Those who have decided not to vote because of the torpid heat should come out and vote.

There were times when we faced disappointment from the political scenario. Let’s vote to ensure that it does not repeat.” said Asif Ali.

Meanwhile, actor Kunchako Boban shared a unique opinion that he would vote for India’s development. The actor was at Alappuzha to cast his vote.

“The present generation of people can easily differentiate development from hollow promises. Those who are capable of bringing development should come to power. I’m always with the development of the country” said Kunchako Boban.

The comment has now gone viral on cyberspace with verbal feuds also taking place among people about the political party which the actor implicitly endorsed.
