THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is a warning of a possible sea attack due to high waves as part of the Kallakkadal phenomenon along the Kerala coast and in low-lying areas of north and south Tamil Nadu coast. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Center has informed that there is a possibility of high waves of 0.5 to 1.5 meters in height on the Kerala coast, South Tamil Nadu and North Tamil Nadu coasts from 2.30 am to 11.30 pm on 28th.
Fishermen and coastal dwellers should be cautious as there is a possibility of storm surge.
At the same time, IMD has informed that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at isolated places in Pathanamthitta district and strong winds with a speed of up to 40 km per hour in the next 3 hours.
