THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Dallal Nandakumar has made allegations against Alappuzha Lok Sabha constituency candidate Sobha Surendran. Nandakumar claimed that Sobha Surendran had intended to leave the BJP temporarily and had sought to become the LDF candidate in Vadakkanchery in the assembly elections. He further asserted that this plan fell through because the amount demanded was exorbitant.

Nandakumar clarified that he had not met with LDF convener EP Jayarajan or Sobha Surendran. He emphasized that Sobha was making baseless claims and EP had no involvement in the alleged meeting. While it's true that the meeting took place at Jayarajan's son's flat, Nandakumar stressed that Sobha Surendran was not present and had no role in the proceedings.

EP Jayarajan blamed the media for the ensuing controversies. ‘Dallal Nandakumar and Javadekar entered the house unexpectedly. How dare the media report that I am going to BJP? Is this media ethics? What evidence backs the news? The news came on the eve of the election as part of a planned move. Through me, the chief minister was targeted. I spoke with Javadekar for a total of three minutes and I have the intelligence and caution not to fall under Nandakumar's clutches,’ said E P Jayarajan.

EP also stated that he explained the meeting with Javadekar because the Chief Minister's name was dragged into this. EP mentioned that K. Sudhakaran had indeed discussed a meeting with BJP leadership in Chennai, but he was unfairly targeted when he disclosed this information.
