THRUVANANTHAPURAM: Driver LH Yadhu will approach the High Court demanding that a case should be registered against Mayor Arya Rajendran for obstructing the KSRTC bus by stopping the car in front of the bus. Yadhu has decided to file a defamation petition against Mayor Arya Rajendran and her husband MLA Sachin Dev. He would also lodge a complaint against the police for not registering a case against the mayor and her husband on his complaint.

Earlier, the police had registered a case against Yadhu on the complaint of the mayor. However, the police refused to register a case against the mayor on the driver's complaint. This action by the police prompted Yadhu to approach the High Court. The mayor had informed the police after stopping the driver. She also contacted the police control room. The police are of the stand that they will conduct an investigation into the driver's complaint while investigating the mayor's complaint.

Meanwhile, Youth Congress activists marched towards the Corporation office to protest against the Mayor's action. They erected a flux board with the words 'Overtaking Prohibited Zone, Beware of Mayor'. Posters with protest slogans against the mayor were put up on KSRTC buses.
