BENGALURU: MP Prajwal Revanna, grandson of JDS president HD Deve Gowda and JDS candidate from Hassan, has finally responded to the sex abuse allegations raised against him. In a post shared on social media, Prajwal said that the truth will prevail soon.
"As I am not in Bangalore to attend the inquiry, I have communicated to C.I.D Bangalore through my Advocate. Truth will prevail soon" posted Prajwal on X. He has also shared the letter handed over by his lawyer to the investigation team.

The investigation team had sent summons to Prajwal and his father and former minister HD Revanna asking them to appear within 24 hours. Prajwal was suspended by JDS on sex abuse allegations. The matter of expulsion from the party will be decided later. JDS believes that obscene videos involving Prajwal Revanna will be a big setback in the elections. Following the incident, the party also issued a show-cause notice to Prajwal.
