THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI executive estimates that it will win three seats in the state in the Lok Sabha elections. The party hopes that victory in Thrissur and Mavelikkara constituencies is certain. The party also stated that there is a possibility of Pannyan Ravindran winning with a narrow majority in Thiruvananthapuram. In addition, the CPI executive also estimated that Rahul Gandhi's majority in Wayanad will be greatly reduced. CPI also estimates that LDF will get 12 seats.
The CPM state secretariat had assessed the other day that the LDF is certain to win 12 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting opined that the anti-government sentiment was overcome through propaganda. Also, CPM is worried that vote trading has taken place in Vadakara. In a statement, the CPM had said that polling in Kerala was completed peacefully after overcoming the false propaganda of the UDF and the BJP, attempts at violence and attempts to sabotage the election by pouring in liquor and money.
UDF tried to influence the voters by resorting to false stories at the last minute. In addition to all this, a section of the media also joined the UDF and the BJP. People will sweep away UDF and BJP from Kerala through the ballot. CPM statement said that the results coming out on June 4 will show that the people have accepted the slogans raised by the LDF.
