THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It has been alleged that the question paper of the NEET UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for medical course admission yesterday was leaked. The question paper appeared on social media in Rajasthan while the exam was going on.

The exam was from 2 pm to 5.20 pm. The question paper appeared on social media at 4.15 pm. NTA claimed that it was not a leak.

At Mantown Adarsh Vidya Mandir Girls Higher Secondary School in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, Hindi medium students were given English medium question papers. NTA says some students walked out with the question paper in protest while the invigilator was trying to correct the error.

According to the rules, only after the exam are allowed to go out. In Sawai Madhopur, students came out of the hall and circulated the question paper on the internet around 4 pm. NTA's explanation is that the examination was in progress and hence the question paper was not leaked.

More than 24 lakh people from within and outside India had registered for the nearly one lakh MBBS seats.
