THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The results of Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) have been declared. The pass percentage is 99.69 and last time it was 99.7. Minister K Sivankutty congratulated all the students who won the exams.

4,27,105 students appeared for the exam. 4,25,563 have been qualified for higher studies. 71,831 students got A Plus in all subjects and this is more than last time. Students of Malappuram Education District got the highest number of A Plus. 4,934 people got A Plus in the district. Last time also Malappuram got the highest number of A Plus.


Kottayam has got the highest pass percentage (99.92 percent) and less in Thiruvananthapuram (99.08 percent). 100 percent win in Pala education district. 892 government schools got 100 percent pass percentage. 285 students appeared for the exam in Lakshadweep. Of these, 277 are qualified for higher studies. The pass percentage is 97.19.

The certificates will be distributed from the first week of June. The minister informed that applications for revaluation can be submitted from tomorrow till May 15. SAY exam will be held from May 28 to June 6.


The minister said that there will be a change in the pattern of the from next year. He added that minimum marks would be executed for the written test and minimum twelve marks is required to pass in each subject.

The second year higher secondary and vocational higher secondary examination results will be announced tomorrow. Last year the result was announced on May 25.
