CHENNAI: A man unintentionally crashed his newly purchased car into a pillar after a pooja at a temple in the Srimushnam area of the Cuddalore district. The car suffered significant damage but the owner, who also drove the vehicle, miraculously emerged from the mishap unscathed.

Sudhakar, who bought the vehicle, had decided to partake in the customary practice of moving the vehicle forward after the ritual. However, he accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, causing the car to lurch forward uncontrollably. Sudhakar panicked and stepped on the gas again as the car careened over several steps before crashing into a pillar-like structure within the temple premises.

Another person, who was speaking with Sudhakar through the window, can be seen clinging to the car during the incident.

It was a long-time desire for Sudhakar to buy a car. It is also doubtful whether he can drive properly.
