OTTAWA: The Indian woman found dead in Canada has been identified as Dona from Chalakudy in Kerala. More news is awaited about the death. The incident came to light after Durham region police issued a notice against Dona’s husband for the crime. A reward of 2000 dollars was also proposed for anyone giving news about the man.

Dona was found dead in her house near King Street West. The house remained shut for too long which evoked suspicion from police. The officials then barged into the house to find the woman lying dead. With this, efforts have been strengthened to find Dona’s husband Lal Poulose, who is still at large.

In the notice issued, it is said that Lal drives a blue colour Ford Escape with the number plate CXKZ784. Even the Malayali groups in Canada have faced difficulties in acquiring information after the police decided to not disclose further information to the media. It has been learned that both Dona and her husband were not part of any Malayali associations in the country.
