NEW DELHI: The public campaign has ended in 96 constituencies in 9 states and union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, where polling will take place tomorrow in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. There are 1,717 candidates. Polling will be held tomorrow for 175 seats in the Andhra Legislative Assembly and 28 seats in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, where elections will be held in four phases.

Lok Sabha elections are as follows: Andhra (25), Bihar (5), Jharkhand (4), Madhya Pradesh (8), Maharashtra (11), Odisha (5), Telangana (17), Uttar Pradesh (14), West Bengal (7), Jammu and Kashmir (1).

While the BJP won 42 seats in the fourth phase of 2019 polling of 89 seats, the Congress got six seats. No winning party won more than 40 percent of the vote. So this is the stage where the odds are likely to change.

Major candidates seeking mandate: Akhilesh Yadav(Kannauj), Mahua Moitra(Krishnanagar), Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, Yusuf Pathan(Baharampur), Giriraj Singh(Begusarai), Asaduddin Owaisi, Madhavi Latha(Hyderabad), Bandi Sanjay Kumar(Karimnagar), YS Sharmila (Kadapa). Chandrababu Naidu (Kuppam) and Jagan Reddy (Pulivendula) in the Andhra Assembly elections.
