KOZHIKODE: RMPI state secretary N Venu alleged that the attack against K.S Hariharan's house was carried out with the knowledge of the CPM. Speaking at a press conference, Venu said that the attack was part of the CPM's attempt to spread the bomb politics in Kannur all over Kerala.

"Bomb was hurled at Hariharan's house after CPM district secretary P Mohanan said that the matter would not end with Hariharan's apology. CPM organizations based in Calicut University are behind the violence. The attack was carried out with the knowledge of the CPM leadership. Calls for murder were raised during the CPM demonstration held there just before the incident. Both the bike and the car that reached the spot have been identified. During his address in Vadakara, Hariharan said things that were inappropriate. The party immediately corrected it and Hariharan apologized for his speech publicly. The matter should have ended there. However, the CPM was not ready to end the issue there. It went on to make calls to murder Hariharan," Venu said.

"The CPM is now trying to destroy the peaceful atmosphere of Kerala. The CPM should remember that no one took bombs when CPM leaders A Vijayaraghavan and MM Mani made anti-women remarks," he added.
