DUBLIN: Three European countries made a decisive move amid the ongoing West Asian conflict. Norway, Ireland and Spain have announced that they will recognize Palestine as a state by next week. Norway, Ireland and Spain announced their decision after various countries in the European Union declared that the only solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the recognition of the two-state solution. The decision will be announced on May 28.


‘There will be no peace in West Asia without this recognition,' responded Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Storr responded. Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris said it was a historic day for Ireland and Palestine. Simon Harris stated that he aims to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by implementing two-state solution.


Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced in the Spanish Parliament that Palestine will be recognized as a state on May 28. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz then asked their representatives in Ireland and Norway to return to Israel immediately. Israel Katz responded that history will remember that Spain, Ireland and Norway decided to award gold medals to the murderers and rapists of Hamas.
