ALUVA: The police have found the twelve-year-old daughter of a migrant worker, who was kidnapped on the pretense of love, from Angamaly. In connection with this, the police have taken three North Indian youths into custody.

The daughter of a native of West Bengal, who lives near Jamaat Hall in Edayapuram, went missing around 5 pm on Sunday evening. It became clear that the girl was abducted as she did not return after going to a nearby shop to buy things.

Residents of the area had testified that three North Indian youths were seen in suspicious circumstances near the girl's house. Later, while the police investigation was going on, the girl called her mother's sister at night and told her that she is going with her friend.

During the investigation conducted by the police focusing on the tower location, the girl and three other people were found from the migrant worker camp in Angamaly. Aluva police said that they will file a case against the youth under sections of the POCSO Act.

On September 7, 2023, an eight-year-old girl from Bihar who was sleeping in her house in Edayappuram Chathapuram was abducted and brutally abused and then abandoned. The latest incident took place just 300 meters away from this place.
