Just hours after 'Rafah' went viral across the Bollywood sphere and even in south India, one of the starters of the trend, Ritika Sajdeh, wife of Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma, deleted the post after getting heavily trolled by netizens.

Rafah a city in the southern Gaza Strip saw bloodshed on Sunday after Israeli airstrikes hunted down 45 Palestinians placed in a tent camp. Just hours after the Instagram story of Rafah went viral, netizens crammed into Ritika’s social media page with caustic remarks and disapproval of her ‘politics of appeasement’.

Some people commented about unfollowing the high-profile WAG and even brought in Rohit Sharma’s name to shame her. Some others questioned her selective outrage on some incident happening far away from India, which is of no concern to our nation.

Meanwhile, many have also come in support of Ritika, for starting the trend and shedding more light on the plight faced by people in Rafah. Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Triptii Dimri, Samantha Prabhu, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Swara Bhasker, and Dia Mirza joined the trend in support of Palestine while many prominent faces including Dulquer Salmaan from Mollywood supported the cause by sharing the same ‘All eyes on Rafah’ story on their respective Instagram page.
