KOLKATA: The cold murder of Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim Anar has taken another curvy route, confounding the officials. Four kilos of human flesh were found in the septic tank of the flat where the murder took place. Police say that the flesh found on the fetid sewage is that of the killed MP. The remains have been taken for forensic examination.

Jihad Havildar, a butcher and a native of Bangladesh, had been arrested earlier by the CID department of Kolkata Police in the case. According to the accused involved in the crime, they peeled off the MP's skin and then cut it into pieces, dumped everything into the toilet and flushed it out.

Butcher Jihad Havaldar was interrogated by the investigation team headed by Mohammad Haroon Rasheed who came from Dhaka the other day. Based on the information received from him, Mohammad Haroon gave instructions to inspect the flat and the nearby canal. But nothing suspicious was found in the canal. Shilasti Rahman, Amanullah Aman and Faisal Ali have been arrested in Bangladesh for having connection with the crime.
