KOCHI: The High Court settled the pleas filed by PC George's son Shone George, seeking SFIO inquiry into the transactions of Exalogic company. In the plea, Shone, who is also a minority shareholder at Exalogic owned by Veena Vijayan, alleged that CMRL has given Rs 1.72 cr to the company.
The plea was settled by the court stating that the purpose of the petition was not relevant as the investigation by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) was going on.
The High Court also clarified that if there is a complaint even after the investigation, the court can be approached again.
Meanwhile, the petition filed by KSIDC challenging the SFIO probe has been adjourned to July 15.
Shone George had also filed another plea stating that he had received reliable information that large sums of money had gone to various accounts in American banks from Canadian companies SNC Lavlin and Pricewaterhouse Coopers through Exalogic Consulting's bank account in the UAE.
