KANYAKUMARI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi left Kanyakumari after completing his meditation. He completed 45 hours of meditation in the afternoon. After paying floral tributes to the Thiruvalluvar statue, he left Gandhi Mandapam and went to Thiruvananthapuram by helicopter. Only security personnel and a few personnel staff members are accompanying him.

He will soon leave for Delhi from Thiruvananthapuram. Heavy security has been put in place at Thiruvananthapuram Airport in connection with the Prime Minister's visit.

Prime Minister reached Vivekananda Rock on Thursday evening, the last day of the election campaign. He performed Bhumi Vandanam, Samudra Vandam and Sandhya Vandanam followed by prayers and pooja in front of the Vivekananda statue. The meditation started at 8 pm.

The Prime Minister was meditating sitting on the pedestal prepared in front of the prathishta. He then went to the room prepared for sleeping. Modi had breakfast yesterday morning after Surya Vandanam, 108 Gayatri Japam and Yoga. He meditated afterwards. Prime minister consumed only fruits, water, Panchagavya and tender coconut in these 45 hours.

He didn't talk to anyone or hear anyone. He was only focused on thought and chanting. Heavy security was provided at Vivekananda Rock. There was security from the Navy, SPG and Air Force.

No one was admitted to the Vivekananda Kendra. No one went out either. Vavathurai, the gateway to the Vivekananda Centre, was under police surveillance.
