NEW DELHI: Barely a day after the exit poll singalled a third term for the Modi government, the new government's 100-day action plan has been finalized. The 100-day action plan is the first thing Modi has discussed since returning from meditation at Vivekananda Rock.
Yesterday, a crucial meeting was held at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg regarding the 100-day action plan, which is believed to be an important turning point for the country's future.
Modi interacted with senior officials of various ministries.
10 high-level groups (Sectoral Group of Secretaries) headed by a Secretary-level officer are responsible for implementation.
A new army chief and IB director are to be appointed this month.
On March 3, Modi had given instructions to prepare the outline of the projects. This was discussed in detail in the last full Union cabinet meeting of the second Modi government. Yesterday's high-level meeting is a continuation of this. Modi attended seven meetings on Sunday. Plans were also made to celebrate World Environment Day on June 5 in a grand manner.
