THRISSUR: Half an hour after the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha election, the exit poll results confirmed a clear advance for the NDA in the country. The NDA is leading in 302 seats. India alliance is leading in 170 seats and others in 19 seats.

The NDA front has maintained a good lead since the beginning of the counting of votes. In Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, the NDA is advancing with a clear lead. In Tamil Nadu, the Indian alliance is leading. The NDA alliance is making progress in Telangana as well. Congress has the first lead in Punjab.

Rahul Gandhi is leading in Rae Bareli and Wayanad in Kerala. NDA candidate Prajwal Revanna arrested in a molestation case, is leading.

The UDF is leading in Kerala. Suresh Gopi is behind in Thrissur.
