THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: NOTA (None of the Above) got 106000 votes in Kerala. NOTA bagged more votes than the majority votes of candidates who won in Attingal (9,580) and Mavelikkara (9,575) constituencies. NOTA got 11,918 votes in Alathur, where the Left Front won, and 11,852 in Kottayam, where the Kerala Congress won.

Second position in Indore
NOTA secured the second position in Indore in Madhya Pradesh. NOTA got 2,18,674 votes. BJP's sitting MP Shankar Lalwani won the first position with 12,26,751 votes. In Indore, Congress candidate Akshay Kanti Bam had withdrawn his nomination papers and joined the BJP on the last day of submission of nomination papers. With this, the people and ranks took up the Congress call to vote for NOTA. A total of 14 candidates contested in Indore. Bahujan Samajwadi Party's Sanjay, who came third, got only 51659 votes.
