PATHANAMTHITTA: CPM workers allegedly attacked the forest officials who came to investigate the felling of trees here in Kochu Koyikkal. The incident took place on Tuesday. As per reports, four persons, including Forest Section Officer Suresh and Beat Forest Officer Ammu Udayan were injured in the attack.

A local leader of the CPM allegedly led the attack. Meanwhile, the forest officials have alleged that despite filing a complaint with the footage of the attack, Moozhiyan police are not filing a case against the culprits.
