KANNUR: Three students, who are relatives, drowned when they fell down while walking along the river bank. The deceased have been identified as Nivedh (20), son of AV Sathyan of Pavannur Valluva Colony, Jobinjith (16), son of brother Sajith and Abhinav (20), son of relative KSRTC driver PP Balakrishnan.

The accident took place at Cheeracherikad in Pavannur near the house at around 6 pm yesterday. The others came to know after Akash (14) who was with him made noise. The locals rushed to the shore and took them to a private hospital but they could not be saved. The dead body is transferred to Kannur Govt. Medical College Hospital.
