PATNA: The NDA government is coming to power for the third time with the support of Telugu Desam leader Chandrababu Naidu and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar. Desperate efforts were made to bring both of them to the camp of the Indian Front. JD(U) leader KC Tyagi has now revealed that India Front had offered Nitish Kumar the post of Prime Minister.
"India Front had made an offer to Nitish Kumar to become the Prime Minister. It was those who did not give him the post of convenor of the India Front who made the offer to make him the Prime Minister. He refused. We will stand firm with NDA'- KC Tyagi clarified. However, Tyagi refused to reveal who made the offer.
Nitish Kumar, one of the founders of India Front, was the chairman of the first conference held last year. In January this year, Nitish Kumar came back to the NDA after leaving the India Front. Meanwhile, Congress leader KC Venugopal rejected KC Tyagi's claim. 'We have not received such information. Only he knows about this revelation' - KC Venugopal said in a press conference.
At the same time, it is reported that JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar has put forward demands to BJP for his support for the third Modi government. Reports are coming out that three cabinet ministers and special status for Bihar have been demanded.
